   I had an Optoma UHD60 for a few years, using just a sub 300 dollar Elite motorized white screen that dropped down. No tension, at the mercy of the HVAC registers below it that would make it move when the AC or heat was on, or even 10 minutes an hour when the fan simply circulates fresh air. It worked fine with the Optoma, but then I picked up a new Epson LS800. And an UST laser projector on that screen was just annoying. Like watching something projected onto a flag. I went back and forth about this one. I found a nearly identical looking one that would be available in 6 to 8 weeks for nearly a grand less, but I didn't want to wait that long, and I wasn't sure I wanted to use a brand new system that was being released for the first time, and deal with bugs. So I finally sucked it in, pulled the trigger on this pricey thing. Delivery was fine, they came and set it down in my great room where I laid out space for it. I was a bit disappointed the box had NO indication on it of which way was up. Rather, there was one spot that had an arrow that looked like it MAY have been that indicator but it turned out it was pointing in the wrong direction. Unboxing was simple enough, but there's three garbage bags full of styrofoam pieces that were in here. It truly does ship well protected. The screen itself is wrapped in a plastic protective film. That is then in the styrofoam which is inside the cardboard box, which is then again wrapped for protection. Then there's four long protective corner pieces that go the full length, as well as corner protective pieces, and both ends are wrapped yet AGAIN in protective plastic to help hold that protection in place. Then there is the yellow plastic binding straps in six or eight spots. The bottom has two rubber rectangular feet that it will settle on. It came with two remotes, and until you look at the tiny writing on the bottom you don't know which is which, since the owner's manual doesn't say anything about which is white and which is black, and they both look identical other than the color. White one is the RF by the way. I got it in place, raised it up, and was pleased with how fast it raises and lowers. Twice as fast as my wall hung motorized 125" Elite screen. I didn't have any issues with wrinkles or lines with that first opening. I've been leaving it open the last few days just to help make sure everything is stretched out right anyway. What can I say? I was worried about going with a low gain screen, even though my projector does 4000 lumen. But while I have blackout cellular shades everywhere in the house, I don't keep my house dark as midnight, so I wanted something that could handle ambient light well, yet still give me a good picture. With the high lumen output I felt safe using a darker screen, and I really hoped that would help the black levels. And it did. My jaw still hasn't returned to the fully upright position yet in the 2 days I've been playing with this thing. I left the Elite white screen up so I could do half and half photos of this, at various times of the day, with various light levels, to see the difference, and it is simply astounding. Granted, the white screen looks just as good in total darkness for the bright spots, but it can't reproduce the black levels the same. I'll put some pictures here showing both screens, so you can see in different lights just how MUCH of a difference this ALR screen can make. I haven't tried the "beta" USB stick yet - and if it's been a few years why do they still call it beta, unless they simply don't want to have to support it? I'm guessing that it is incompatible with far too many projectors so this way they don't have to do phone calls with people wanting to make it work with their projector. The tension seems to work well. I'm actually using this as a borderless screen, since there are no black spots on the left and right side. I get a tiny bit of curl that last half inch or so from the tension, but it's barely noticeable. I could use a feature on the projector and cut the last half inch or so off the picture via the remote control, but I don't bother. I've been up and down half a dozen times, and it always positions itself correctly. I didn't have to do any adjusting since I actually set this up with the projector placed where it needed to be with the default height. I'm happy. If you have the need for using a UST projector in an area that has some light, this is definitely the way you need to go. I can't wait to remove the Elite screen from the wall, since that's just a bit ungainly up there when it's not in use. Yes, my home is truly one big man cave, but even I get tired of seeing that hanging up there. This is FAR more unobtrusive than the Elite. I tossed a couple photos showing non ALR and ALR in bright settings, a shot from Horizon Forbidden West in a dark setting, and a shot from a movie where you can see how bright the room is, and how amazing the picture still looks in that much light. I only used that Optoma for 56 hours over a few years, I've almost reached that with this new projector in a week. With this screen I'm going to use it VERY often.

   I used to project on the wall all the time, and the projection effect was acceptable to me, until I bought this anti-light screen, I was shocked! ! The difference between the white wall and the screen is so big, the projection screen must be used, so as to best display your projection effect! Look directly at the picture! I'm really happy with this screen and my family has been complimenting it all the time! Very recommended!

   The image attached to this review is a picture of the VividStorm UST ALR 120" screen paired with the new Epson LS800 UST. In the image the screen is in direct sunlight from the windows in the upper right corner. Simply STUNNING!! What an image!! Daytime? Nighttime? Who cares! I can NOT tell the difference between the projected image and an actual LCD screen. It's absolutely unreal. We are living in the future folks!! Additionally, this projector screen is amazingly WELL BUILT and VERY sturdy. There is not one single solitary thing that feels cheaply made on this product. The product is heavy and made from some type of heavy gauge aluminum/steel alloy. It feels like something you would buy from Apple, only at 3x the price of course. One more thing, customer service is VERY responsive to any emails/questions and very helpful. Also, I ordered the screen and received it in 3-4 days. They have a local warehouse (in Arizona I believe) where they store these screens. So you're not going to be waiting for it to ship from China - at least that was the case for me. They keep a local stock/supply ready to go! Everything about this screen is A+++!

   This screen showed incredible high video quality with my Samsung ultra short laser projector. 1080p movies’ quality are very good already as showed below. The 4k video are more sharp and smooth on this screen. Although it is not a cheap screen but it definitely worthy to buy. The seller dispatched my package very fast, all the package be packed very well as well. There is one thing make me feel little sad is that there is a small part a little damaged during shipping process. It shouldn’t happened because I paid more then 900 NZ dollars just for shipping. DHL should keep my package safely during the whole shipment. This is not seller’s responsibility, as I said before, my packed be packed very strong and nice. Overall, I like this screen, now I can see goodbye to cinema ;)

   I have some crease but the team told me to keep it open for a few days so im doing that but i don't notice it during content at all. So far i'm amazed with this screen my old screen was a 1.3 elite screen i love that screen and well this screen destorys it with ease. Between this floor standing and awol lvt-3500 it's a dream come true this vivid storm helps tame some of that light output but it's still overly bright like a led tv.Anyone wondering the usb trigger works amazing with this projector too.

   This screen is exactly as described, it is quality made, works like a charm, and is an ingenious solution for any room that does not have space for a huge screen hanging on the wall. I use it with the TV and roll it down when is not needed. The picture is bright ND vivid, it rejects ambient light as was advertised. The package was great and secure. Overall I would recommend this screen and the company that makes it to anyone.

   nice cinema clr ust screen. came a little bit dirty and has lines every 40cm. i think its from the pressure when its closed and on the right side is a bigger gap thant left?? you can see all these things in photos. for 2000eur i only accept perfection!!! i am not as happy as i should be. i get 10% back, because of the problems.

   I am so glad that I bought this screen, which hides away when not in used, reveals what’s behind the screen, in my setup it’s a large windows that let in natural light; and it cover the window that needed to be covered anyway when in use, the ALR factor also works extremely well with ultra short throw projector, IMO it’s way better than a large TV in many different ways. I enjoy every single use in the last 14 months, few days back an issue occurred that have ripped the screen on the far left side of the screen as shown in the first picture; communicated with the customer service team, after a through investigation that it is in fact a quality control issue and they really stood strong behind their product by sending me a replacement unit, 14 months after the purchase! Kudos to the superb customer service; I am definitely a returning customer to vividstorm and recommends to all friends has any need for their projector setup!

   Excellent screen, drove well, the surface is chic. Moves quickly and not too loud. Works fine with UST projectors. The box was damaged, but they did not affect the inner content, packed very reliably. Already inside Russia, the couriers did not want to bring, as they considered an additional Commission for Transportation in 1500₽, but the seller made a direct transfer to the map and paid. I advise you very much.

   We bought the screen for our bonus room. We have a large window in the room and wanted a motorized screen that we could move to be able to still enjoy the window view. The screen housing is very well constructed. Heavy and thick. Something I suspect will hold up with the test of time. The quality of the screen is very nice. Very clear. I have overhead ceiling lights and these lights have minimal to no impact on the picture due to the ALR technology. The operation is very slick and user friendly. It came with two controllers and a toggle dong for my projector. Overall, very happy with the screen.

   I mean I expected good, but this thing is really, REALLY good. First of all it's got a sleek finish. It's also very sturdy, even a little heavy, as I got the 120" -- but better sturdy than flimsy.I purchased during the holidays. It arrived by DHL a lot faster than I anticipated (I wanna say like in 12 days) and in sturdy packaging so great product condition out of the box. There's no assembly required. I've attached video/ photo. The version I got has a perforated finish just above the housing so a center speaker behind it tilted at angle hits the viewer direct.I paired the Vividstorm screen with an Optoma short throw (not seen in video/ photo); any reasonable short throw will do. The picture quality is AMAZING with AMAZING blacks levels due to ALR screen.Lastly, functionality is a thumbs up -- it functions perfectly, rising and setting smoothly... And with the 120" (as seen in photo) it's HUGE! taking up almost my entire basement wall. I highly recommend.

   The screen is honestly so much better than we thought it would be!! We used it with Samsung UST projector and the picture quality is simply impressive. It looks just like TV but less stress on your eyes.On top of its high quality, the customer service is amazing too! They are responsive and helpful. Whenever I email them with questions, they respond within a day with detailed answers.Overall we are very happy with the purchase and would recommend this screen to everyone!

   I used to think my wall is good enough for my projector. Then I thought regular screen is good enough. But when I got this VividStorm, I just realized how much I’ve been missing. This screen is so easy to use. Just place it and you are done. No more trying to hook to the right place or adjusting the screen. I have to warn you that the housing is super long, so you need lots of space horizontally. The screen is wrinkle free and now I can see the show or movie better with lights. To add to that, VividStorm is uber responsive with any question. Originally, they shipped a wrong color and they have been super responsive when it comes to the exchange. It was a pleasantly surprisingly excellent customer service.

   I absolutely love how easy this was, to setup and use. My screen came well packaged and quicker than expected (about a week). I was previously using my white wall with my Samsung UST LSP7T projector and this screen makes one hell of a difference in image quality, light reflections on other walls and the looks of my basement haha! A big thanks to Vividstorm for creating this unique product. My only hope is that it lasts for a really long time without issues in the screen motor / moving parts

   The product feels so high-tech and quality right out of the box. Packaging is very well protected.Motors are smooth and image quality is so refined and sharp, it feels just like the movies.Rotor arms and the tension mechanism are very sturdy and well built.I am 100% happy with this project.Photos really don't do this 120inch screen justice.

   This screen came fast in only 2 days! Upon arrival, everything was working good and in new condition. There were some slight wrinkles in the material but it smoothed out over a few days. It honestly makes the projector quality a lot better than using a white screen. There is rich contrast in the picture. I love this screen because you can just retract it with just a push of a button. The screen will move a lot if you have ceiling fan or any type of fan but it’s not that noticeable.

   Visible horizontal lines. Consistently spaced out and progressively gets lighter the higher up the screen you go. Looks like the joint between the ALR material and black section at the bottom of the screen creates this impression. Not visible during use with high lumen UST projector. I suspect everyone will suffer from this issue but does not impact performance. Support was quick to answer my question. Suggested I leave the screen up for a few days. Did not notice a substantial improvement over a period of 4 days. Still highly recommended this screen.
